Kraft is the number one dairy brand in the U.S for 2018

Rigid plastic packaging is the pack-type of choice for the U.S. dairy market, according to Euromonitor.

Kraft dominates the U.S. dairy market with products like Breakstone Sour Cream, Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Kraft Singles.  Chobani is the second leading dairy brand followed by Dean Foods’ Dairy Pure brand.

Nestle’ S.A. comes in at number four with their Coffee-mate brand.  And finally, Dannon from Danone, is America’s fifth leading dairy brand with products such as Activia and Silk.

Rigid plastic commands 66% of the U.S. dairy packaging market.  Flexible packaging claims a 23% share of the diary packaging market.  Tetra-Pak-style liquid cartons, prevalent in Europe, captured 6.65% of the dairy packaging market in the U.S. in 2018.
