NACS joins Partnership for Food Safety Education

Will help in work to educate consumers

The National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) has joined the Partnership for Food Safety Education (PFSE) and will be participating in its Fight BAC! Campaign, a program that helps educate consumers on how to handle food to minimize the risks related to foodborne illnesses.

The partnership also is supported by a number of food industry members, including Cargill, ConAgra, the Food Marketing Institute, the Produce Marketing Association, Tyson, McDonalds, Meijer Inc. and the National Pork Board.
