In the candy business, Pez in its refillable dispenser is a classic. Now Leading Brands, Inc., is marketing a Pez shelf-stable juice, in a 8.54-oz (250-mL) “no-spill” stand-up pouch topped with a collectible Pez character.

Labeler and tray packer meet for the first time
Janssen Pharmaceutical, Beerse, Belgium, has installed a high-speed labeler that automatically feeds product into a tray packer without any need for manual handling between the two packaging operations. According to the company, this integration is the first of its kind in Europe.
