The BFR Systems ERMA EB80F cutting line produces fixed weight portions from cheese blocks, which are first weighed and then scanned by a 3-D camera to calculate the thickness of each portion to be cut by the downstream ultrasonic cutter. The cutter can achieve output speeds up to 120 portions per min.
