From Loma Systems, a non-destructive temperature measurement system for chilled food applications is a new-generation Celsius unit that relies on microwave thermometry to measure the thermal radiation wavelengths emitted by an object. Celsius is accurate to within ± 0.2° and measures the average equilibrium temperature of the product, rather than the surface or center, without physically disturbing the food item or its packaging material.
