Where Does Metal Fit In Your Ingredient Statement? Bunting® Magnetics Co. offers precision magnetic separation equipment for thousands of food, grain and ingredient processors to ensure their products are metal-free. With our line of magnetic separation and metal detection equipment, you’re assured to be using equipment built with better materials and better design to give you the Purest Product Possible – it’s our P3 Promise. DRY INGREDIENT PROCESSING For dry ingredients, Bunting® provides the industry’s most well-designed line of Magnetic Separation and Metal Detection Equipment. For example, Bunting HF Series Drawer Magnets are equipped with powerful magnetic cartridges to handle a wide range of separation tasks in mechanical or gravity flow applications. HF Drawer Magnets come standard with the NUHI™ Neo Ultra High Intensity Cartridge Magnet. Completely redesigned from the ground up to address the processing challenges manufacturers face, the NUHI™ cartridge is the strongest cartridge in the industry – the result is more power and a purer product. Gravity Free-Fall Style Metal Detectors automatically detect – and reject – all ferrous and non-ferrous metals without process interruptions by separating contaminated materials from the product flow. The QuickTRON™ 07, in particular, incorporates patented coil design that allows the product to flow closer to the coil for greater sensitivity. The reject is designed to be easy to clean and fast-reacting for minimal loss of good product. LIQUID INGREDIENT PROCESSING Easy-clean Magnetic Liquid Traps remove ferrous metal from liquids and slurries moving through the production line. With high-energy neodymium magnets and metal-detectable gaskets, our Magnetic Liquid Traps are available in plate style for more fibrous liquids and those containing some solids, and cartridge style for thinner product.
