Carton merging system
This custom carton merging system from Shuttleworth, powered by Pro Mach, accepts cartons post-coding and mitigates the arrangement for case packaging. The system redirected the cartons in groups of four into one of three individual lanes. At the end of the lanes the twelve packages were picked six at a time for case packing.

Case packing collated cartons
Combi’s robotic case packer accepts cartons of Milk Bone Brushing Chews and separates them into groups of six via laser sensor. The six are picked together and placed into the case for sealing and palletizing later down the line. During the project Combi essentially managed the entire end of the line through to the pallet.
