Retirement, organizational appointments announced

Steven Oakland, vice chair and president, U.S. food and beverage at The J.M. Smucker Company, will be retiring on June 29. A 35-year veteran of the company, Oakland previously held a variety of executive positions including president, coffee and Away From Home; president, international, foodservice and natural foods; and president, U.S. retail.

The company has also announced Joseph Stanziano will become senior vice president and general manager, coffee, as of February 1. He now serves as senior vice president and general manager, consumer foods.

Tina Floyd, vice president and general manager of Away From Home, has been elected a corporate officer and will be taking on Stanziano’s current positions, effective February 1.

Amy Held, vice president, corporate strategy and business development, also has been elected a corporate officer and will assuming the role of senior vice president, strategy and M&A on May 1.
