Attendee registration for pack expo east 2020 (March 3-5, 2020; Pennsylvania Convention Center, Philadelphia) is officially open, according to show producer PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.

Now in its fourth edition, the three-day event will feature 400 exhibiting companies and span 100,000 net sq ft, providing the opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas with 7,000 peers. The location in Philadelphia presents a unique opportunity. This mid-Atlantic region is rich with consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, allowing much of the East Coast the chance to drive or ride the train to see the latest in cutting-edge technology and insights.

Like all events in the PACK EXPO portfolio of trade shows, PACK EXPO East will also offer world-class educational offerings, free of charge, on the show floor. In the center of the action, the Innovation Stage will present ample opportunity for professional enrichment during 30-minute seminars throughout each day.

The Forum takes a collaborative approach to learning. It will feature 45-minute open sessions on the latest industry trends by thought leaders from the OpX Leadership Network, Institute of Packaging Professionals, Contract Packagers Association and PMMI Business Intelligence. Each session includes small group discussions and Q&A sessions.

Other programs and activities on the docket include:

• The Packaging & Processing Women’s Leadership Network regional meeting will include presentations and discussions, allowing peers to exchange ideas and experiences.

• PMMI’s online job board comes to life as the CareerLink @ PACK EXPO will offer an opportunity for PMMI members and CPGs to meet with students and veterans pursuing careers in packaging and processing during one-on-one informational interviews.

• The Workforce Development Pavilion is a one-stop shop for resources to strengthen and grow the existing workforce. Learn about PMMI U offerings, including popular training workshops.

Registration is $30 through Feb. 7, 2020, after which the price increases to $100. For more information and to register online, visit www.packexpoeast.com.
