PartsXpress, a poultry, meat, and prepared foods industries supplier with headquarters in Crossville, Alabama, and another location in Springdale, Arkansas, announces new National Sales Manager J.W. Ashmore. Having served for over seven years with a sister company, Ashmore brings significant knowledge of process engineering with him to help lead the PartsXpress team in providing plants with everything they need to keep operations running smoothly. This leadership transition signifies the incredible growth the company has seen since its launch as an independent company in 2024 and positions the company to best serve its clients in the food processing industry in the midst of record-setting forecast growth.
Over the last five years, former National Sales Manager Zack Graham has been instrumental in helping to grow the parts division and eventually the launch of PartsXpress as an independent company. “We are excited for Zack and the opportunity he has to lead a family business,” said Vice President Adam Walker, “and we are even more grateful for the foundational work he did to help establish PartsXpress as a leading supplier in the prepared foods industries.”
From the beginning, the PartsXpress team has set lofty goals to ease the plant maintenance burdens of its customers. The team has consistently recognized the importance of “now,” prioritizing immediate action with an emphasis on taking care of the customer. Through volume inventory, the team has committed to fast turnovers, and through exceptional pricing, the team has striven to improve the customer’s bottom line. All of this has helped orchestrate the significant growth of the company.
“Over the last year, our team has achieved record-setting growth month over month, paving the way for even greater things ahead,” said Walker. “We are very excited to now have J.W. leading the team as National Sales Manager with his varied work in the agricultural industry, his numerous research projects, and his extensive experience in biosystems engineering.”
Having grown up working in his family’s business, Ashmore’s Fine Foods, serving in leadership in FFA and 4H, and laboring in chicken houses and on cattle farms, Ashmore continued growing his expertise in the agricultural field in college. He pursued his education through undergraduate research in fisheries, biofuel/bio-oil product, and preventative maintenance protocols for processing machinery. He completed his undergraduate work with a BSEN in Biosystems Engineering from Auburn University.
Ashmore brings significant project engineering expertise to his new role as National Sales Manager, having served as a Project Engineer and a Senior Project Engineer in various roles over the last several years. He has extensive knowledge in specifying parts and materials for food processing systems, having designed and implemented countless small to very large processes for food processing companies across the United States.
“I am excited to play a key role in the future growth of our company,” said Ashmore. “I look forward to coupling my industry knowledge and background with our management and existing team of driven, experienced sales professionals to expand our reach and drive sustainable growth, further establishing PartsXpress as the customer’s parts supplier of choice in the food processing industry.”
With the customer relationships he has built in his previous roles, his team mentality as part of a larger manufacturing team, and his expertise in process flow systems parts and materials, Ashmore stands poised to guide the PartsXpress team to even greater levels of growth and service to its customers, doing “Whatever it Takes” to provide you with “Everything You Need” to keep your plant running smoothly.
