Archer announced the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Vernon, Calif. Located outside of the downtown Los Angeles area, Archer says the plant allows it to quickly expand capacity while maintaining control over production and quality standards of its lineup of meat sticks.
"Opening this facility in Los Angeles, the city that has been integral to our growth story, is a major milestone for Archer. This expansion ensures we can meet increased demand for our meat sticks, while also setting us up for long-term category leadership by investing in our own infrastructure," says Eugene Kang, founder and CEO of Archer. "This plant represents both the strength of our business today and our commitment to building for tomorrow."
Archer says it will be adding more than 200 jobs, and adding to the 150 employees at its existing state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in San Bernadino.
The 140,000-sq-ft Vernon facility is set to double Archer's overall manufacturing capacity.
