Key Technology VERYX Digital Sorter
Key Technology VERYX Digital Sorter

The Key Technology VERYX digital sorter for nuts and dried fruits identifies and removes foreign material and defects, such as small, loose and embedded shell fragments, membrane material, insect damage, surface scratches, color-based defects, stems, rocks and glass. Configurable with front- and rear-mounted laser sensors and cameras, the sorter provides all-sided surface inspection; it combines pixel-level input from multiple cameras and laser sensors to differentiate good product, defects and foreign material. The high-resolution ejection system features close spacing between air nozzles to target and remove defects. The sorter comes in a variety of widths to meet the needs of low- to high-capacity nut and dried fruit processors. It can be used as a standalone sorter, either inline or batch fed, and in arrangements comprising a cascading line of multiple sorters.
