Campbell set to sell Bolthouse Farms business?

A move away from the fresh food industry may be imminent

According to a report by CNBC, Campbell Soup Company is sending out the financial books for Bolthouse Farms to potential buyers. The company bought Bolthouse Farms in 2012 for $1.55 billion, at which time, Bolthouse registered over $100 million in earnings before interest depreciation and amortization, but it is now losing money.

The potential sale has attracted interest from corporate and private equity buyers, according CNBC.
