According to a Reuters posting, Kraft Heinz Co. and Mondelez International Inc. have been short-listed to participate in the second round of the auction of Campbell Soup’s international business. Based on the first-round bids received, Reuters states, Campbell Soup could receive close to $3 billion for its international business. Campbell Soup could wrap up the auction in the first quarter of 2019.
