Campbell sells Bolthouse Farms

Butterfly Equity affiliate to be new owner

An affiliate of Butterfly Equity, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm that specializes in the food sector, has agreed to pay $510 million to purchase Bolthouse Farms from Campbell Soup Company, subject to customary purchase price adjustments. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of fiscal 2019.
