Pickett St., Suite 110, Alexandria, VA 22304-7206; Phone: 703/823-7234, fax: 703/823-7237. —Pliant Corp. (Schaumburg, IL) has purchased five, 59”-dia surface/center/gap blown film winders from Reifenhauser Inc. (Ipswich, MA) for its Danville, KY, plant; Pliant also purchased an Infinitiä gearless flexographic press from Paper Converting Machine Co. (Green Bay, WI). —Liberty Paper Inc. (Becker, MN) has purchased a 98” coater for its Becker mill. —Interroll Corp. (Wilmington, NC) has implemented a capital improvement plan that will coincide with the realignment of its worldwide organization into strategic business units based on product groups. —KHS Anker’s Labelling Technology Competence Center (Hamburg, Germany) has relocated into a new facility with greater production area and new high-lift warehouse, offices, and customer service space. —Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (Arlington, VA) has opened a Shanghai, China, satellite office, made possible, in part, due to a $400ꯠ grant from the Dept. of Commerce’s Market Development Cooperator Program.
