Chicago-based private equity firm May River Capital has acquired Kason Corporation, which will be a part of May River’s newly formed Advanced Material Processing (AMP) platform company focused on material processing equipment for such sectors as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and chemical. Marion Process Solutions, a manufacturer of industrial mixers and blenders, as well as microwave vacuum drying systems, also will be a part of AMP.
