Horizon Organic, a part of Danone North America, has pledged to become carbon positive — achieving carbon neutrality and removing, reducing, and offsetting additional emissions from entering the atmosphere — by 2025. The company already has begun its efforts with its new Growing Years whole milk half-gallons, which will be the brand’s first certified carbon neutral product by the end of 2021, and the finalization of its full lifecycle assessment, which a panel of independent experts will validate.
