Today I'm gonna talk to you about our InvisiPac hot melt machine.
InvisiPac is an end-of-line packaging machine that applies hot melt adhesive to closed boxes, and it's a really innovative, unique solution for users.
Graco focuses on products that are going to provide value and return on investment for their customers, and this is the industry's only tank-free hot melt system. So we're actually melting the glue on demand versus other systems that have a large tank, and they melt the glue in that tank.
The big benefit there is we can reduce glue consumption for users and eliminate char in the process, which leads to downtime for customers.
Because of the meltdown demand system, the glue is not sitting in the pot all the time being cooked—like in a Crock pot when you make your food at home and you get the char on the outside—we've eliminated that with this process.
What that means is you don't have those pieces of char breaking off, moving downstream towards the gun, clogging the nozzles and stopping the user's machine.
Incredibly important in the CPG world because they're moving fast volumes and large volumes of product through the system, and uptime is a very big requirement, so we increase up time for users and at the same time we reduce glue consumption by eliminating that char on the tank.
We can reduce glue consumption by up to 30%, which provides users a large return on investment by switching from their current hot melt system to the InvisiPac.
