New cans tout cane sugar

Pw 3428 Hansen
Hansen Beverage Co., Corona, CA, has introduced a new look for its line of sodas sweetened with cane sugar. The beverages are packaged in 12-oz aluminum cans supplied by Ball Corp. Packaging graphics were created by Deutsch Design Works.

The two-piece cans are dry offset litho-printed in six colors. Prepress work is done by VN Graphics, and inks are formulated by INX International.

Hansen vp of marketing Blair Owens says, “The response to the new graphics has been very positive. Some retailers have experienced a double-digit lift in sales since we revamped the graphics and added an eight-pack option to the existing standard six-packs.”
