Graphics make the difference

Aviator Brewing Co. of Fuquay-Varina, NC, is one of those craft brewers whose owners understand how big a difference high-impact graphics on a full-body shrink sleeve label can make.

“The sleeve labels are more expensive, but the graphics are really incredible,” says Aviator’s Mark Doble. He’s been brewing beer since 1985, founded Aviator in 2008, and now produces about 13,000 barrels a year. “For production runs of 20,000 cases and up we do preprinted cans,” he continues. “But about 30% of our cans are labeled.”
