The Jamboree is an annual event hosted by a different university every year. A tour of a Swiss Miss plant in Menomonie, WI, and presentations by nine speakers highlight this year’s Jamboree. UW-Stout expects about 300 students to attend. “Speakers will be coming in from a wide spectrum of industries. They will talk about innovations, and what is new and exciting in their areas of packaging,” say Jamboree co-chairs Keri Otremba and Beth Prissel. At press time, Jamboree sponsors included IoPP, Doboy, Prent, Kell, DuPont, Kimberly Clark, General Mills, and Great Lakes Packaging. For more information, call 715/232-2138.
