Orion Packaging Systems introduces the first two models of its new Flex Series semi-automatic turntable stretch wrapping machines - the Flex HPD and Flex LPD. Shown here at Pack Expo Las Vegas, this machine features 5,000 lb load capacity, 14 RPM turntable, and more.

The Flex HPD (High Profile Deluxe) and Flex LPD (Low Profile Deluxe) both feature high performance 260% film delivery, and electronic film tension control to provide superior efficiency and value per load. For enhanced ease-of-use, the Orion Flex models provide a powerful PLC controller with a digital Human Machine Interface, low maintenance AC motors, "drop lock" safety system, a height sensing photoeye, forklift portability from front or rear, and easy "drop in" stretch film loading. The new Flex models also include a structural steel base to provide years of durable service and reliability.

Available options on the Flex HPD and LPD include an extended mast, extended base, 30" film carriage, scale package, film roping, and prestretch rates up to 350%. Orion supports its industry leading prestretch system with a lifetime warranty on its prestretch rollers.
