The Deitz Pharmafill PS1 Packserter desiccant inserter features a cut length sensor system that automatically verifies desiccants, oxygen absorbers and other packets have been properly fed from the continuous strip before allowing them to be cut. In the event of a misfeed, the system stops the inserter’s operation, flashes the red stack light and alerts the operator before the cutting mechanism can slice the pouch. The unit inserts one or multiple packets into bottles or other containers at speeds up to 100 per min. It can be used with a range of packets in varying materials and thicknesses, as well as a variety of containers in different shapes and sizes.
