Cybersecurity incidents affect one-fourth of manufacturers polled

Rebecca Taylor, National Center for Manufacturing Sciences, reports that few manufacturers are prepared to deal with cybersecurity and need to form a plan of response if and when an attack happens.

Taylor made her remarks at The Automation Conference in Chicago two weeks ago. Only 8.5% of respondents to a manufacturing survey reported they were ready to deal with a cyberattack.
