Servo drive system simplifies motion control

Engineered for a variety of motion control applications, the Siemens Sinamics S210 drive system is comprised of a Sinamics S210 converter, Simotics S-1FK2 motor and Simatic S7-1500 controller. The converter focuses on dynamic motor axis control, while the connected controller takes complete charge of positioning functions for the connected drive axes. The motor is connected to the converter using a one-cable connection. Typical uses for the system include packaging machines and handling applications, such as pick and place.
