The Challenge: Preventing Damage and Meeting Code
The ITV valve is engineered to prevent over-temperature conditions that can damage PVC piping, ensuring code compliance and minimizing water waste. Installed directly into drain lines, the ITV uses ThermOmegaTech’s exclusive Thermoloid® thermal actuator to automatically inject cold water when effluent temperatures are above the specified set-point. As temperatures drop, the valve modulates and shuts off cold water flow to conserve resources and reduce water waste.
