Engineered for applications where dry raw or finished products are handled, and inspection or system clean-out is required, the Schenck CMD airlock features all-stainless steel construction, with the exception of the endplate bearings; all the product contact parts have a maximum 32 Ra finish. The airlock comes equipped with a square inlet and a square outlet, as well as a rail system consisting of externally mounted precision shafts fixed to the endplate on 1 end and supported by composite linear bearings pressed into the valve housing on the other. The endplate/rotor assembly can be pulled from the housing and drive coupling while remaining rigid to the housing via the rail system.
