Available with a food-grade white epoxy coating and stainless steel components for washdown applications in the food and beverage industry, the Tolomatic IMA electric linear, integrated servo motor rod actuator integrates a servomotor and ball or roller screw. The actuator features a hollow-core rotor design that allows the nut of the screw to pass inside the rotor, 3- to 18-in. stroke lengths and peak thrusts from 200 to 6,875 lbf at speeds up to 24 in./sec. The actuator is suitable for applications such as slicing control, pressing, valve control and volumetric filling. Options include food-grade greases that comply with international food/health and safety regulations, stainless steel for all external assembly and mounting, and stainless steel external components to increase corrosion resistance.
