Capable of pumping from 7 to 40 gpm, depending on product characteristics and piping configuration, Hinds-Bock piston transfer pumps move hot or cold flowable liquid products and mixtures from mixing, holding or cooking vessels to filling machines. They include a low-shear piston pumping action; wide, open ports and valves; and large sanitary fittings that allow the pumping of large, soft chunks and particulates. The pumps can be used with products ranging from thin noodle soups and gravies to thick deli salads, shredded meat burrito filling, macaroni and cheese, chili, vegetable stew, fruit fillings and blueberry muffin batters.
