The Gearing Solutions FlexFrame 5hp face-mounted speed reducer has adaptors that allow it to be used with IEC or NEMA motors. Featuring an aluminum housing, the unit is suitable for cantilevered and over-center designs where heavier gearheads are not feasible. The shock load-resistant reducer comes in standard ratios of 3:1, 4:1, and 5:1, and is compatible with mixers; conveyors, hoists, and other material handling equipment; food processing equipment; and robotic drives.
