Joyce Fassl

Joyce FasslJoyce Fassl has spent most of her career in editorial content management. She joined PMMI Media Group as Editor in Chief of ProFood World in June 2016. In this position, she oversaw coverage of news, trends, products and technologies in food safety, automation, processing, packaging, material handling, and sustainability for food and beverage processing professionals. In 2021, Joyce stepped down as Editor in Chief and became Senior Executive Editor of ProFood World, focusing on the publication’s Manufacturing Innovation Awards and Sustainability Excellence in Manufacturing Awards, as well as Joyce’s Voice e-newsletter.

Previously, Joyce was editor in chief of Food Engineering at BNP Media where she directed the magazine’s editorial staff for more than two decades, except for a two-year stretch where she oversaw content direction for the debut of While at Food Engineering, she was also the program director of the Food Automation & Manufacturing Conference. Her expertise is creating dynamic print and online content, building top-notch editorial teams, and managing innovative custom publishing projects and live events.
