John Ghingo, president of Applegate Farms
Applegate Farms, a leading natural and organic meat brand and a subsidiary of Hormel Foods, has appointed John Ghingo as president. Ghingo comes to Applegate from The WhiteWave Company, where he was the president of plant-based foods and beverages. Prior to WhiteWave, Ghingo was with Mondelez for 16 years.
Applegate Farms also has promoted Senior Director of Mission Gina Asoudegan to the position of vice president of mission and innovation strategy. She has been with the company since 2006.
