An investment group led by Charlesbank Capital Partners and Partners Group have reached an agreement to acquire Hearthside Food Solutions. Currently owned by Goldman Sachs and Vestar Capital Partners, Hearthside is America’s largest independent bakery. The company produces a variety of high-quality nutrition bars, cookies, cereals, and other baked foods and snacks for a number of food brands. It has 25 manufacturing facilities in the United States and Europe and employs approximately 7,900 people.
To date, the financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
