Hygienic magnetic mixer has no shaft or shaft seal

Providing a high torque capacity, the Lightnin MBE Series MagMixer hygienic magnetic mixer has bottom-mounted magnetic agitators for low-viscosity blending in sterile applications. Engineered using computational fluid dynamics, the mixer features three-blade hybrid axial/radial impellers in an open construction to facilitate flow, cleaning and sterilization. The unit is controlled by a variable frequency drive and covers a power range from 0.09 kW to 7.5 kW, with operating speeds between 200 and 1,000 rpm. A range of options is available, including a choice of bearings, O-rings, drive and body materials; protection classes up to IP67; and hazardous area operation (ATEX Category 2).
