Reputation Institute, a provider of stakeholder measurement, named Campbell’s as the No. 1 company in its annual US RepTrak 100 rankings. Kellogg’s placed fifth, Hershey’s came in sixth, and J.M. Smucker’s took the No. 8 spot. Notably, this is the first year for all four companies to enter the list’s top 10.
The rankings are determined based on a survey that quantifies stakeholders’ emotional bonds with over 880 leading companies, and how these bonds influence activities such as the willingness to buy their products, recommend their brands or invest them. The findings were determined through more than 52,000 individual ratings during this year’s first quarter.
