PepsiCo to buy SodaStream International

Will add leading in-home refreshment beverage solution to its portfolio

PepsiCo, Inc. has entered into an agreement with SodaStream International Ltd. to acquire all outstanding shares of SodaStream for $144.00 per share in cash, in a transaction valued at $3.2 billion. The boards of directors of both companies have unanimously approved the deal, which is subject to a SodaStream shareholder vote, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. The closing is expected by January of next year.
