Tivity of Nashville to become new owner

Tivity Health Systems of Nashville has agreed to buy Fort Washington, PA-based Nutrisystem for approximately $1.4 billion in cash and stock. Nutrisystem Chief Executive Officer Dawn Zier is expected to become president and chief operating officer of Tivity.
