"We thought this package would be easier for people to take back after lunch and share with their office," says David Dubroff, president of Lettuce Souprise You. "It's a little more reasonably priced. It also shows off the product better." The company uses a 14-ga stock oriented polystyrene clamshell from Bunzl Distribution (St. Louis, MO). CokerGolley (Atlanta, GA) designed the pressure-sensitive wraparound label, which features the restaurant's logo with colors varying for each of the four flavors. Voxcom Web Printing (Peachtree City, GA) handles the flexo printing in four colors on an 80-lb white gloss paper. A package of four muffins retails for $2.59. Lettuce Souprise You restaurants are found in Atlanta and Houston, TX.
Souprising changes
When Atlanta, GA-based restaurant chain Lettuce Souprise You switched from a paperboard carton to a polystyrene clamshell for its carry-out muffins, it also changed from a 6- or 12-count package down to a 4-count package.
