Unilever reaches 100 percent renewable electricity goal

Unilever factories, offices, R&D facilities, data centers, warehouses and distribution centers in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and North America are now being powered by 100 percent renewable grid electricity, ahead of the company’s 2020 target. Unilever achieved the milestone, in large part, by supporting the development of local renewable energy markets, implementing on-site solar electricity generation and purchasing Renewable Energy Certificates.
