IFF Set to Merge with DuPont’s Nutrition Business

International Flavors & Fragrances has agreed to merge with DuPont’s nutrition and biosciences division, which is valued at $26.2 billion. The deal will create a $45 billion company that will supply a variety of products, including soy proteins, probiotics, enzymes, ingredients, and flavors, as well as scents for consumer products. Subject to approval by regulators and IFF shareholders, the transaction is projected close by early 2021. The new company will continue to be called IFF and will be based in New York.
