Bern, Kansas-based C.J. Foods is set to acquire American Nutrition, which makes super-premium dry, canned, and baked pet food and treats. Expected to close by April, the transition will give C.J. Foods the capacity to produce 1 billion pounds of pet food annually with national and international distribution.
