Rich Products Announces Three Acquisitions

Global family-owned food company implementing long-term growth strategy

Rich Products is in the process of making three key acquisitions. To expand its reach and offerings in the bakery and dessert categories, the company is purchasing from TreeHouse Foods its manufacturing plants in Lodi, California and Fridley, Minnesota. The transaction is expected to close this April.

Rich’s is also buying Spokane, Washington-based Rizzuto Foods, which makes pizza and flatbread products, as well as gluten-free and cauliflower crusts. In addition, Rich’s is acquiring Morey’s Seafood International and its state-of-the-art processing center and a distribution facility. No financial terms of the three transactions have been disclosed.
