Hormel Foods Corporation Group has announced Swen Neufeldt, currently vice president of meat products marketing for the company’s refrigerated foods division, will become group vice president and president of Hormel Foods International Corporation this summer upon the retirement of Vice President and President of Hormel Foods International Corporation Larry Vorpahl. Neufeldt began his career with Hormel Foods in grocery products sales and product management. In 1999, he moved into the company’s international business, where he held a variety of positions, including general manager of Europe, director of business development for Asia, and president of Hormel Foods International – Asia Pacific.
