Form Plastics' (St. Charles, IL) Date-A-Meal tape is said to help foodservice providers identify the date a meal was packed to help assure freshness and safety.

Each 3/4"-wide tape is pre-printed with numbers that indicate the day of the month. Tape adheres to the top of see-through lidding. Just introduced, Date-A-Meal is part of the company's KISS/SEAL fresh food packaging system.
