Somic America, Inc. announces leadership of U.S. office

Somic Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG and Somic America, Inc. are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Fox as new Vice President of Sales North America.

Mr. Fox has a BS in Package Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Stout and an MS in Engineering Management from Northwestern University.  Fox brings with him over 25 years of extensive experience in the packaging industry from packaging development to sales management and development in both capital equipment and the packaging consumables market. Fox will be joined by Martin Sager, currently the North American area Manager. Sager will fill the role of Sales Director for North American.

This appointment reflects the long term commitment by Somic to grow its business globally in end-of-line packaging systems in the food, confectionery, pharmaceutical and pet food sectors.  Somic is well-known for its compact, ultra-flexible packaging systems.  All Somic machines are based on the mechatronic SOMIC 424 Modular System.
