The ISO 9001:2015 standard is governed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and focuses on an effective Quality Management System (QMS) and performance for manufacturing companies. The system guides and governs operations completely from improving communications and efficiency to implementing continuous improvement.

“Passing the ISO 9001:2015 audit proves that we do not just talk about quality, but we live by it every day,” stated Mark Kurtzweg, General Manager of Worldwide Dispensers. “This certification is important in assuring that our customers continue to receive the very best quality and service from Worldwide Dispensers.”

To be ISO 9001:2015 certified is not only a company-wide initiative to supply quality products but also a requirement by some of Worldwide Dispensers’ top customers. Certification requires time and commitment. Preparation for the audit was a year-long process which included management and supervisors reviewing the new standard, revising documentation, adjusting processes and procedures, and performing internal audits.

Worldwide Dispensers is also ISO 14001:2004 certified, ensuring that an Environmental Management System (EMS) is in place to minimize the environmental impact of operations. Worldwide Dispensers will be transitioning to the ISO 14001:2015 standard in April 2018.
