The Pharmafill TC4 tabletop tablet counter from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co. is offered with an optional mini-tablet modification. Developed to ensure accurate, automated tablet counting with mini-tablets and other oral solid dosage forms <3mm in diameter, the proprietary design features a modified product guide assembly and flow diverter that ensure the small, lightweight pills are laid flat and organized in a single file for proper presentation to the counting sensor. Concern for bunching, overlapping, or clogging at the guide chute that could lead to missed counts or extra counts is eliminated.

Suitable for nutritional and pharmaceutical product manufacturers, pharmacies, and contract packaging companies, the Pharmafill TC4 tabletop tablet counter automatically counts opaque, translucent, and transparent mini-tablets, and dispenses them into bottles, envelopes and pouches using a semi-automated approach with a single operator. The electronic tablet counter achieves filling rates of up to 2,000 mini-tablets per minute with 99.99 percent accuracy filling bottles up to 10 inches in height.

The TC4 tablet counter with the mini-tablet modification is designed and manufactured in the company's Wall, New Jersey headquarters. The mini-tablet product guide assembly may be replaced with the original design for counting larger tablets.
