The JLS Talon Series robotic picking system proves a high-roller in Vegas

Robotic picking system programmed literally to roll the dice in Vegas demonstrates the agility and advanced vision and tracking capabilities of JLS Automation’s Talon series robotic packaging system.

Craig Souser, president of JLS Automation, explains how the company’s Talon Series picking systems, using ABB Robotics’ IRB 340 FlexPicker robot, accommodates a range of products with speed and agility. At the show, the robot is programmed to pick up and throw two giant dice, with the results recorded using the system’s vision and tracking software. JLS is exhibiting in partner Ilapack’s booth, at C-3043.
