Hi everybody. My name is Adam Rosenthal. I am the Director of Sales and Marketing for Weiler Labeling Systems. We're here at Pack Expo 2024 here in the Healthcare Packaging Pavilion in the West Hall at McCormick Place. And I'm thrilled to show you today the newest innovation from Weiler Labeling Systems.

What we have here is our brand new patent pending. device stabilizers. This is the most cost effective and efficient way to label injector pens. So, this is a typical injector pen, and what's happening with injector pens these days is that they can only endure 40 newtons of axial force as they're being labeled. So, they come through this labeler that I'm standing in front of right now, the WLS RL 420, And as they're coming into the servo platform to be labeled in its, spinning, platform, again that axial force is being applied. And what happens is more than 40 newtons actually activates the pen, which we cannot have.

Now, what we actually need to apply is more like 60 newton meters. So, WLS has come up with this brand new innovation. It's our patent pending device stabilizer. So when it's brought in to its servo platform, we have a cam actuation. So these grippers are actually open. The injector pen comes in on its puck.

As it is prepared for the labeling process, these grippers close and utilize the windows in the injection pen. Then, when the 60 newton meters of axial force is applied to the top, the grippers accept all of that force, and then the bottom is not bearing any of that force at all. And they do not, the pen does not activate.

And this is a wonderful solution. It eliminates the need for expensive active pucks. And so this is, again, a very cost effective and streamlined efficient way to label injector pens.

Again, I'm Adam Rosenthal for Weiler Labeling Systems.
